The most significant analytical techniques infrastructure and instrumentation that are available in PCCP lab are the following:

  • Several Lab-scale and Pilot-scale apparatuses operating on chemical and electrochemical continuous processes.
  • High Resolution, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (HR-SEM).
  • Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and  in situ Diffuse Reflectance Infrared Furrier Transform Spectroscopy (in situ DRIFTS).
  • Mass Spectrometry (MS) and GC-MS.
  • Gas Chromatography (GC): Four (4) gas chromatographs on-line equipped in continuous flow apparatuses. 
  • Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Non Dispersive Infrared analyzers:  CO-NDIR, CO2-NDIR.
  • Chemiluminescence NOx-analyser
  • UV-Visible Spectrophotometry
  • Nitrogen physisorption (BET) and porosimetry.
  • CO, N2O and H2 equilibrium chemisorption (active surface area estimation).
  • Catalytic testing reactors, high temperature ovens, mass flow meters etc.
  • Temperature Programmed Desorption (TPD).
  • Temperature Programmed Reaction (TPR).
  • Planetary milling.
  • Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA and TDA).
  • Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).

  • X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (XRF and EDXRF); placed in affiliated, abutted laboratory where we have free access.
